A brighter future for Erith

The Erith Park Sales Team

Erith Park has a friendly, experienced team of sales advisors who look forward to welcoming you to the Marketing Suite.

Although all the members of our team can help you with your initial enquiry, financial assessment  and registration, we have individual specialists in Shared Ownership and Outright Sales, who will be your named point of contact and there to hold your hand throughout the purchase process.

To break the ice, we thought you might like to get to know a little about each of them before you meet them in person:

Jeanette is our Outright Sales guru, who will be able to give you all the information on the properties we have for sale at Erith Park, and help you to find out about the Help to Buy equity loan scheme for which you may be eligible.

As well as living nearby herself, Jeanette has worked at Erith Park since day one of the development, and now knows the area like the back of her hand. She’s a great source of information on things like the best local schools, transport systems and leisure facilities, and she’s always happy to help.

Jeanette’s top tip for new buyers is to have all your paperwork in order before you start the purchasing process. She says: “The key thing you can do to help things run smoothly is to know where important documents like your pay slips, bank statements and ID are, as these are the things the Independent Financial Advisor will need to help you get your mortgage in place quickly.”

Jeanette tells us that her favourite part of her job is when she hands over people’s keys, sees their excitement at becoming homeowners, and presents them with a celebratory bottle of bubbly.

A little known fact about Jeanette, is that she used to have a license to breed miniature pigs, and once had to retrieve her breeding pair, Colin and Constance, from the local Vicar’s garden…

Debbie is our expert on Shared Ownership, has been with Orbit for 11 years, and was born just up the road from Erith Park.  Like Jeanette, she knows the area inside out, and enjoys helping people to discover more about the excellent facilities and transport links around the development.

Debbie loves her job, and says the best part for her is being able to offer Shared Ownership opportunities to people who would otherwise have no chance of owning their own home.

Debbie’s top tip is: “BE BRAVE!  You might think you can’t get a foot on the property ladder, but you could be very pleasantly surprised.  We have a lot of very happy customers who never thought they would be homeowners, but they qualified for Help to Buy through Shared Ownership, and so could you.  You have nothing to lose by coming to see us and making an enquiry.”

Debbie tried to look innocent and claimed not have any interesting secrets, until we discovered that she once walked up and down a nearby High Street, to promote a new greengrocers, dressed as a banana!

Hannah provides administrative support to both Jeanette and Debbie, and is very knowledgeable about Erith Park and its surrounding area. She can also help you with the initial financial assessment and registration process, and give you the information you need to decide which purchase method is best for you.

Hannah says that variety is what keeps her job interesting, as she explains: “It’s different every time someone walks through the Marketing Suite door.  You never know what people’s individual circumstances are, and I love helping to find the option that works best for each person.”

Hannah’s top tip is to be open minded when you are thinking about buying your new home. She explains: “I encourage people to be prepared to discuss different ideas.  You never know what options might be available to you, and buyers are often very pleasantly surprised by the type and size of home they can actually afford.”

Hannah’s little known secret is that she is a whizz with a piece of ribbon on a stick. Having competed for Wales in rhythmic gymnastics as a child, our friendly Sales Administrator is the girl with the twirl!
